We are at the Smith Boys boat yard and expect to be here a few days, allowing time for the yard to take down our mast and have a craddle built so we can lie the mast horizontally on our deck. Last nite we ate a small shore side restaurant and watched the sun set on the Niagara River looking across to Grand Island, recalling childhood memories of living on the island. Of course "Buffalo Wings" was the dinner treat last night. We are a stone's throw from the enterance to the Erie Canal.
