We departed Sandy Hook, NJ around 6:00 in the morning to catch the flood tide to run the East river around New York City to get to Long Island Sound. Here are about to pass under the bridge at Veranzano Narrows.

A colorful passing tug.

Miss Liberty - Finally reopened to the public.

Lower Manhatten - the Wall Street area.

The famous Brooklyn Bridge.

The Empire State Building.

The United Nations complex.

As we entered Long Island Sound we saw a number of water side estates.
