We are still here at Sandy Hook. Seems like everytime we have to lay over for a variety of reasons for a few days. Logistically it is a good spot. We have been at anchor since we arrived Monday.
We hope to get moving again toward New England tomorrow, Sunday, or the next travelling up to New York City's East River and then east through Long Island Sound.

Atlantic Highlands, NJ actually has highlands. Here in the harbor we are on the north side and the east side faces the Atlantic and looks like a series of bluffs you see on the Mississippi river.

Gordon on shore overlooking the Marina here.

Jabberwocky on her mooring in the harbor. There is some bad weather coming through tonight so we got a mooring for more protection. They have a nice launch service to get us back and forth to the dock.
