The Battery and the Wall Street area

Ellis Island - My Grandfather landed here on April 14, 1912, two days after the Titanic sunk off the coast of Canada

Verranzo Narrows Bridge and we are out of the Hudson River.

We are spending the night at Atlantic Highland, NJ and ready to run the Atlantic Coast down to Delaware Bay about 120 miles south.

I've visited Ellis Island and found myself awe struck. You're family actually entered those halls and made their way through the maze of meetings, paperwork and physicals to enter a new world to start a new life. What harrowing experiences they went through on their journey. I still haven't identified my families port of entry.
